Train Movements definition

Train Movements means movements on the Network of Services comprised of railway vehicles by EWS;

  • Queensland Rail may do anything that it considers reasonably necessary: to remove, rectify, mitigate or otherwise deal with any Obstruction; or to recommence Train Movements where there is or was an Obstruction, including to move, or remove from the Network, any of the Operator’s Rolling Stock (including any freight) that is causing or contributing to an Obstruction or preventing or hindering Train Movements.

  • Where QR reasonably believes that more timely recommencement of Train Movements can be achieved by QR, then QR may, subject to using reasonable efforts to consult with the Operator, take such action as is reasonably necessary (including the use of a Railway Operator’s Rollingstock to clear the Operator’s Rollingstock) and recover such reasonable direct costs incurred by QR in doing so.

  • The Customer must notify MITCo in accordance with the Terminal Operating Procedure of any proposed temporary cancellation or modification of Train Movements.

  • Within [10] Business Days of the Contract Date, or as otherwise agreed between the parties, the Customer must provide to MITCo a schedule of all proposed Customer Train Movements for the Term (Booking Schedule).

Train Window for each of the Customer’s Trains means the period of time at which the Customer’s Trains are scheduled to arrive at and depart from the IMEX Terminal as set out in the timetable notified by Terminal Operations Co from time to time.

  • Ancillary Movements has the meaning ascribed to it in Part D of the Network Code;

  • Sites means the area(s) upon or in which the construction work is carried on, and such other areas adjacent thereto as may be designated by the Commissioner.
