Transgenic Animal means an Animal whose genome has been modified by introduction and integration of exogenous DNA. Use of the Technology in an organism or cell type, means inducing downregulation of target gene expression in a cell of the organism or cell type (where the target gene may be endogenous or exogenous), such downregulation being induced by an RNAi Molecule that is introduced into the cell by any means. In the case of Use of the Technology for preventing and treating Pathogens and Parasites of an organism, Use of the Technology in the organism also includes downregulation of target gene expression in a cell of a Parasite or Pathogen that is in, on or otherwise in contact with the organism, being downregulation induced by an RNAi Molecule introduced into a cell of the organism.   • Biological Samples means any physical samples obtained from Study Participants in accordance with the Protocol for the purposes of the Study.

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Vaccine means a specially prepared antigen which, upon administration to a person, will result in immunity and, specifically for the purposes of this rule, shall mean influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.

  • Cannabinoid means any of the chemical compounds that are the active constituents of marijuana.

  • Licensed Compound means (a) 3,4-Diaminopyridine, the chemical structure of which is set forth on Exhibit B-2; and (b) any derivatives, isomers, metabolites, prodrugs, acid forms, base forms, salt forms, or modified versions of such compound in (a).

  • Manufacturing Know-How means, with respect to the Product or any Variant thereof, the technology, data, designs, processes, methods, specifications and other know-how used in connection with the formulation, manufacture, labeling, packaging, quality control, release testing, and production of the Product, and all ingredients used therein and portions thereof.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing (solely or jointly by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing) in the course of [***].

Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter.
