Transit Account definition

Transit Account means an Account opened for an NSD Payment System Participant (being a Russian resident non-credit institution) concurrently with an Account in a foreign currency for the purpose of crediting, in full, any amounts received in the foreign currency in favour of the NSD Payment Participant, as required by the currency legislation of the Russian Federation;
Transit Account means a designated bare trust account opened and maintained by us in BSNL’s name on behalf of our clients generally, including you, as beneficiaries, with the Transit Account Provider, for the purposes of holding funds immediately following their withdrawal from Deposit Accounts but prior to their being used to acquire Electronic Money;
Transit Account is defined in Clause 6.2(d) .

  • Deposit Account means a demand, time, savings, passbook or like account with a bank, savings and loan association, credit union or like organization, other than an account evidenced by a negotiable certificate of deposit.
