Transmission Interface Arrangements definition

Transmission Interface Arrangements means the transmission interface arrangements provided for in Condition 19.
Transmission Interface Arrangements has the meaning given to it in SONI’s System Operator Licence; “transmission systemin respect of a Party, shall have the meaning set out in its System Operator Licence;
Transmission Interface Arrangements means the system interface arrangements provided for in Condition 17;

Examples of Transmission Interface Arrangements in a sentence

  • The Licensee shall procure that no modifications, amendments or variations are made to the Transmission Interface Arrangements without the prior approval of the Authority.

  • Where, and to the extent, required to do so by the Authority, the Licensee shall publish the Transmission Interface Arrangements on its website.

  • In addition, the Transmission Interface Arrangements may provide for there to be referred to the Authority for determination such additional matters arising under the Transmission Interface Arrangements as may be specified in the Transmission Interface Arrangements.

  • The Transmission Interface Arrangements shall provide for any disputes between the parties thereto over revisions to the Transmission Interface Arrangements to be referred to the Authority for determination.

  • Revisions to the Transmission Interface Arrangements proposed by the Licensee and sent to the Authority pursuant to sub-paragraph 9(b) shall require the Authority’s approval before they may be made.

  • The Licensee shall comply with the Transmission Interface Arrangements .

  • The Licensee shall, as soon as practicable after it receives an application in accordance with paragraph 1 or 2, request (to the extent necessary) an offer from the Transmission Owner and/or the Republic of Ireland System Operator (in accordance with the Transmission Interface Arrangements and/or the System Operator Agreement as appropriate) in respect of that application and the works (if any) necessitated by that application.

  • The Licensee shall comply with the Transmission Interface Arrangements.

  • Except with the prior written consent of the Authority and in accordance with any conditions of that consent, the Licensee shall not co-ordinate or direct the flow of electricity onto or over the whole or any part of the transmission system, save to the extent it is permitted to do so under the Transmission Interface Arrangements, or is required to do so by any other Condition of this Licence.

  • Except with the prior written consent of the Authority and in accordance with any conditions of that consent, the Licensee shall not (and shall procure that the Relevant Subsidiary shall not) co-ordinate or direct the flow of electricity onto or over the whole or any part of the transmission system, save to the extent it is permitted to do so under the Transmission Interface Arrangements, or is required to do so by any other Condition of this Licence.


More Definitions of Transmission Interface Arrangements

Transmission Interface Arrangements means the Transmission Interface Arrangements prepared by NIE and the TSO pursuant to the Licence and the TSO’s transmission licence;
Transmission Interface Arrangements the Transmission Interface Arrangements prepared by NIE Networks’ and SONI pursuant to the NIE Networks’ Transmission Licence and the Licence;
Transmission Interface Arrangements means the transmission interface arrangements provided for in Condition 19.“Transmission Owner”means the person authorised, from time to time, under the Transmission Owner Licence in its capacity as the holder of that licence.“Transmission Owner Business”has the meaning given to that term in the Transmission Owner Licence.“Transmission Owner Licence”means the licence granted, under Article 10(1)(b) of the Order, to Northern Ireland Electricity plc (a body corporate registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI026041) on 31 March 1992.“transmission services”means those services which are provided or are to be provided to the Licensee by the Transmission Owner pursuant to the Transmission Owner Licence, as defined in that licence.“transmission system”means the system of electric lines owned by the Transmission Owner and comprising high voltage lines and electrical plant and meters used for conveying electricity from a generating station to a substation, from one generating station to another, and from one substation to another within the Transmission Owner’s authorised transmission area (including such part of the North/South Circuits as is owned by the Transmission Owner) (except any such lines which the Authority may approve as being part of the distribution system) and any other electric lines which the Authority may specify as forming part of the transmission system, but shall not include any Interconnector.“Transmission System Operator Business”means the business of the Licensee (or any affiliate or related undertaking) in the operation of the transmission system, or in the procurement of System Support Services (whether or not pursuant to directions of the Departmentmade under Article 37 or 38 of the Order), or in the co- ordination and direction of the flow of electricity onto and over the transmission system, or in the undertaking of its obligations under the Licence in respect of Northern Ireland Interconnectors, or in the undertaking of electricity trades with the operators of systems other than the transmission system as approved by the Authority, including any business in offering to enter into, and entering into, Connection Agreements and Use of System Agreements, but shall not include:

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Merchant Transmission Facilities means A.C. or D.C. transmission facilities that are interconnected with or added to the Transmission System pursuant to Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and that are so identified in Tariff, Attachment T, provided, however, that Merchant Transmission Facilities shall not include (i) any Customer Interconnection Facilities, (ii) any physical facilities of the Transmission System that were in existence on or before March 20, 2003 ; (iii) any expansions or enhancements of the Transmission System that are not identified as Merchant Transmission Facilities in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan and Tariff, Attachment T, or (iv) any transmission facilities that are included in the rate base of a public utility and on which a regulated return is earned. Merchant Transmission Provider:

  • Transmission links are the means used for inter-connecting distributed units for the purpose of conveying signals, operating data or an energy supply. This equipment is generally electrical but may, in some part, be mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic.

  • Merchant Transmission Provider means an Interconnection Customer that (1) owns, controls, or controls the rights to use the transmission capability of, Merchant D.C. Transmission Facilities and/or Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities that connect the Transmission System with another control area, (2) has elected to receive Transmission Injection Rights and Transmission Withdrawal Rights associated with such facility pursuant to Tariff, Part IV, section 36, and (3) makes (or will make) the transmission capability of such facilities available for use by third parties under terms and conditions approved by the Commission and stated in the Tariff, consistent with Tariff, Part IV, section 38. Metering Equipment:

  • Transmission Owner Attachment Facilities means that portion of the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities comprised of all Attachment Facilities on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection. Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities:

  • Transmission Service Agreement or “TSA” shall mean the agreement entered into between Long Term Transmission Customer(s) and the TSP pursuant to which TSP shall build, own, operate and maintain the Project and make available the assets of the Project to Long Term Transmission Customer(s) on a commercial basis;

  • Transmission pipeline means any high pressure transmission pipeline connected to, but excluding the Maui Pipeline, that is used for the open access transportation of Gas, and includes all items of plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings directly appurtenanced to that pipeline, but excluding any item which is controlled by a party other than that pipeline’s TP Welded Party and any low pressure distribution system.

  • Transmission Provider means any entity or entities transmitting or transporting the Product on behalf of Seller or Buyer to or from the Delivery Point.

  • Regional Transmission Enhancements means enhancements and expansions of the Transmission System that (1) a Regional Transmission Expansion Plan developed pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6 or (2) any joint planning or coordination agreement between PJM and another region or transmission planning authority set forth in Tariff, Schedule 12- Appendix B (“Appendix B Agreement”) designates one or more of the Transmission Owner(s) to construct and own or finance. Required Transmission Enhancements shall also include enhancements and expansions of facilities in another region or planning authority that meet the definition of transmission facilities pursuant to FERC’s Uniform System of Accounts or have been classified as transmission facilities in a ruling by FERC addressing such facilities constructed pursuant to an Appendix B Agreement cost responsibility for which has been assigned at least in part to PJM pursuant to such Appendix B Agreement.

  • Transmission Services the services provided by the Transmission Provider(s) to the Distributor;

  • Transmission Charges means the charges payable to TSP by Long Term Transmission Customer(s) pursuant to the TSA, as adopted by the Appropriate Commission;

  • Generation Interconnection Agreement means the generation interconnection agreement to be entered into separately between Seller and PGE, providing for the construction, operation, and maintenance of interconnection facilities required to accommodate deliveries of Seller's Net Output.

  • Transmission Injection Rights means Capacity Transmission Injection Rights and Energy Transmission Injection Rights. Transmission Interconnection Customer:

  • Transmission Facilities shall have the meaning set forth in the Operating Agreement. Transmission Injection Rights:

  • Transmission Business means the authorised business of a transmission licensee to transmit electricity, whether for its own account or for that of any other person, through any system owned and/ or operated by such licensee;

  • Generation Interconnection Request means a request by a Generation Interconnection Customer pursuant to Tariff, Part IV, subpart A, to interconnect a generating unit with the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of a generating unit interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.

  • Network Integration Transmission Service means the transmission service provided under Tariff, Part III.

  • Transmission line means any single or multiphase electric power line operating at nominal voltages at or in excess of either 69,000 volts between ungrounded conductors or 40,000 volts between grounded and ungrounded conductors, regardless of the functional service provided by the line.

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Network Transmission Service means transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Tariff, Part III, or transmission service comparable to such service that is provided to a Load Serving Entity that is also a Transmission Owner.

  • Transmission Service means Point-To-Point Transmission Service provided under Tariff, Part II on a firm and non-firm basis.

  • Interconnection Provider means PacifiCorp Transmission.

  • Transmission Facility means a facility for transmitting electricity, and includes any structures, equipment or other facilities used for that purpose as defined in the Parties respective XXXXx.

  • Telecommunications facilities means apparatus necessary or useful in the production, distribution,

  • Electronic Interface means access to operations support systems consisting of preordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair and billing functions.

  • Transmission Customer means any eligible customer, shipper or designated agent that can or does execute a transmission service agreement or can or does receive transmission service, including all persons who have pending requests for transmission service or for information regarding transmission.
