Upstream Process definition

Upstream Process means that part of the Developed Process starting with (and expressly including) the following process step: first inoculation of a culture with the Developed Strain up to (but expressly excluding) the following process step: the loading of the first chromatographic column; for the sake of clarity the Upstream Process shall expressly include any fermentation, harvest and clarification of the culture broth.

  • Third Party Materials means any materials and information, including documents, data, know-how, ideas, methodologies, specifications, software, content, and technology, in any form or media, in which any Person other than the State or Contractor owns any Intellectual Property Right, but excluding Open-Source Components.
