Valid Proof of Purchase definition

Valid Proof of Purchase means a receipt for a Settlement Class Member’s purchase of a Replacement Battery, which receipt indicates the name of the Interstate Batteries authorized dealer where the Replacement Battery was purchased, the date of that transaction, the amount paid for that Replacement Battery, and the battery model/part number of the Replacement Battery. If a receipt is provided, but lacks some of this information, Interstate Batteries shall review an updated version of the spreadsheet that was produced by Interstate Batteries in discovery and make a good faith attempt to confirm that the proffered receipt corresponds to the purchase of a Replacement Battery during the class period. If that review enables Interstate Batteries to verify the receipt corresponds to a pro-rata-warranty-adjustment transaction, the receipt shall be deemed a Valid Proof of Purchase.
Valid Proof of Purchase means verifiable documentation of a transaction that reflects the purchase of one or more Covered Products on or before the Preliminary Approval Date.
