Variable Investment Option definition

Variable Investment Option means a separate account or a subdivision of a Separate Account available under this Contract. A Variable Investment Option may invest its assets in an Investment Fund.

Examples of Variable Investment Option in a sentence

  • The request may be in terms of dollars, such as a request to transfer $5,000 from one Variable Investment Option to another, or may be in terms of a percentage reallocation among Variable Investment Options.

  • The amount you have in a Variable Investment Option at any time is equal to the number of Accumulation Units you have in that Variable Investment Option multiplied by the Variable Investment Option’s Accumulation Unit Value at that time.

  • Pruco Life reserves the right to postpone payment of that part of the proceeds that is to come from any Variable Investment Option (provided by a separate account registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940) if; (1) the New York Stock Exchange is closed; or (2) the SEC requires that trading be restricted or declares an emergency.

  • We may charge a Variable Investment Option Facilitation Charge in order to make certain funds available as Variable Investment Options under this Contract.
