Tolerance means a state of adaptation in which exposure to a drug induces changes that result in a diminution of one or more of the drug’s effects over time.
Zero tolerance means that the school will not tolerate the possession of any weapon by any person. The term “weapon” is defined as any object or substance which by its design, threatened use, or use could cause bodily injury or property damage, including any object which could reasonably be mistaken for a weapon. Compliance Review means an inspection of the home, grounds, and files to determine compliance with these regulations.

Quality improvement organization or “QIO” shall mean the organization that performs medical peer review of Medicaid claims, including review of validity of hospital diagnosis and procedure coding information; completeness, adequacy and quality of care; appropriateness of admission, discharge and transfer; and appropriateness of prospective payment outlier cases. These activities undertaken by the QIO may be included in a contractual relationship with the Iowa Medicaid enterprise.
