Voluntary Service definition

Voluntary Service means those services offered by the LFC that:
Voluntary Service means a programme of activities of practical solidarity, based on activities recognized in the Republic of Albania, in pursuance of general interest objectives.
Voluntary Service means any service provided free of charge to or in respect of any candidate at an election by a natural person, voluntarily and personally, in the person’s own time for the purpose of promoting the election of the candidate or prejudicing the election of another candidate.

  • The following activities are not considered as a European Voluntary Service within the framework of Erasmus+: occasional, unstructured, part-time volunteering; a work placement in an enterprise; a paid job; a recreation or tourist activity; a language course; exploitation of a cheap workforce; a period of study or vocational training abroad.

  • Participating organisations are responsible for:o arranging subsistence, lodging and local transports of volunteers;o envisaging tasks and activities for volunteers that respect the qualitative principles of the European Voluntary Service, as described in the EVS Charter;o providing volunteers with on-going task-related, linguistic, personal and administrative support throughout the duration of the EVS activity.

  • Part B – Large-scale European Voluntary Service events LARGE-SCALE EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE EVENTS WHAT ARE THE AIMS OF A LARGE-SCALE EVS EVENT?This Action aims to support large-scale volunteering projects (involving at least 30 EVS volunteers) in the framework of European or worldwide events in the field of youth, culture and sport (e.g. World Youth Summits, European Capitals of Culture; European Youth Capitals, European sport championships, etc.).
