Vulnerable adults definition

Vulnerable adults means adults of any age who lack the functional, mental, or physical ability to care for themselves. It shall also include any person who fits within the definition ofvulnerable adult” as that term is defined in RCW 74.34.
Vulnerable adults means any adult to whom an activity which is a Regulated Activity relating to vulnerable adults by virtue of any paragraph of paragraph 7(1) of Schedule 4 of SVGA is provided.
Vulnerable adults means adults age 60 or older and adults age 18-59 with disabilities, who are under the protection of Illinois Adult Protective Services (“APS”) to prevent abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation of these individuals.

An adult may become vulnerable temporarily through illness, bereavement or other sources of stress or difficulty.
