Critical Illness definition

Critical Illness or “CI” means Diagnosis of any of the following Covered Conditions which occur directly as a result of illness, and first occur after the Effective Date of Insurance:
Critical Illness means an illness, sickness or disease or corrective measure as specified in Section 6 of this policy document.

Examples of Critical Illness in a sentence

  • Subject to the provisions and fulfillment of the conditions of this Rider and payment of Premiums, the Company agrees to pay to the Eligible Person under the Base Policy the Benefits under this Rider on the Diagnosis of the Critical Illness in the manner as defined and set out in Appendix A by a Specialist subject to furnishing proof of Diagnosis of the Critical Illness to the satisfaction of the Company.

  • On first ever diagnosis of any one of the eligible Critical Illness as mentioned in Appendix A, subject to the other terms of this Rider, the Company shall pay the Rider Sum Assured as mentioned in the Base Policy Schedule or the Rider Endorsement Letter to the Rider to the Eligible Person.

  • ING Critical Illness Rider is the name of the Rider of the Company.


More Definitions of Critical Illness

Critical Illness means following disease/illness:
Critical Illness means any of the Illness or surgeries listed under Part C Clause 1 (C)(ii)
Critical Illness means illness shall include either the diagnosis of any of the illnesses or performance of any of the covered surgeries as given in section I C) of Annexure K, subject to exclusion as given in section II C) of Annexure K. Annexure K forms part of this Policy Document.

Annexure K forms part of this Policy Document.
Critical Illness means any of the following mentioned diseases – Cancer, Kidney failure, Liver Failure, Multiple Sclerosis, Multiple Organ Transplant, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Aorta Graft Surgery, Stroke, Heart Attack and Coma.
Critical Illness means any one of the following:
Critical Illness means a serious medical condition listed on the Schedule of Benefits and defined in the Benefit Provisions section of the Policy.
