Lanreotide administration and dosage schedule. Lanreotide is provided in a single-dose, prefilled syringe affixed with an automatic needle protection system. Each dose of the study treatment (per cycle) will be administered in the clinic every 28 days. The injection of lanreotide will be administered via the deep subcutaneous route in the superior external quadrant of the buttock. The injection site will be alternate between the right and left sides from one injection to the next. Investigators should remove lanreotide from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to administration. Keep pouch sealed until just prior to injection.
