Absence due to Court Appearance. In a case connected with employment in the Xxxx School District or due to being subpoenaed on any proceeding connected with school, the employee will be paid for the court or hearing appearance without being charged sick leave or business leave days. If an employee must serve on jury duty, he/she will be paid the difference between his/her jury pay and his/her regular pay, without loss of leave days.
