Common use of Academic Calendar Clause in Contracts

Academic Calendar. Section 4.1. The work year shall not exceed one hundred seventy-five (175) days inclusive of days specified by the District as Faculty In-Service days as part of the "Flex Calendar". Faculty In-Service days shall not exceed seven (7) days in any one academic year. Section 4.2. The Academic Calendar shall be determined by the President upon recommendation from the Senate and Superintendent/President’s Executive Committee in order to provide the most convenient and educationally sound schedule for students.
