Academic Dual Enrollment. Exemptions to the grade point average, to pre-requisites, to the maximum number of allowable college credits or other items as specified in the eligibility section of this document may be initiated by the high school principal. Approval by the College's Vice- President for Academic Affairs or the appropriate Academic Associate Vice President or Academic Xxxx is needed before an exemption can be granted. The high school guidance department or registrar will notify the College, in writing, of the reasons why the principal wishes to exempt a student from the stated criteria. It is the responsibility of the Vice President for Academic Affairs or the Academic Associate Vice President or Academic Xxxx to notify the principal of the approval or disapproval of the exemption within ten (10) working days from receipt of the exemption request. CAREER AND TECHNICAL DUAL ENROLLMENT Students may not earn more than twelve (12) college credit hours prior to the correction of all deficiencies. Academic Dual Enrollment. ‌ Academic dual enrollment is a form of dual enrollment in college credit courses leading to an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or a Baccalaureate Degree. Eastern Florida will award an associate degree to qualifying high school students in the same semester that the Brevard County School Board awards the high school diploma. Students seeking an A.S. Degree may dual enroll only in those A.S. Degree programs identified on Exhibit B 2023-2024 Available Career Dual Enrollment Programs of Study.

  • Initial Enrollment Upon retirement, each new retiree who is eligible to enroll in plans under the Health Benefits Program shall receive uninterrupted coverage under the plan in which he or she was enrolled as an active employee, provided the employee submits all necessary applications and other required documentation in a timely fashion.

  • LEAST RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT/DUAL ENROLLMENT CONTRACTOR and XXX shall follow all LEA policies and procedures that support Least Restrictive Environment (“LRE”) options and/or Dual Enrollment options for students to have access to the general curriculum and to be educated with their nondisabled peers to the maximum extent appropriate. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that LRE placement options are addressed at all IEP team meetings regarding students for whom ISAs have been or may be executed. This shall include IEP team consideration of supplementary aids and services, goals and objectives necessary for placement in the LRE and necessary to enable students to transition to less restrictive settings. When an IEP team has determined that a student should be transitioned into the public school setting, CONTRACTOR shall assist the LEA in implementing the IEP team’s recommendations activities to support the transition.
