Common use of ACCESS AND AUDITS Clause in Contracts

ACCESS AND AUDITS. The Consultant shall maintain adequate records to justify all payments made by the Town under this Agreement for at least three (3) years after completion of this Agreement and longer if required by applicable federal or state law. The Town shall have access to such books, records, and documents as required in this section for the purpose of inspection or audit during normal business hours, at the Consultant’s place of business. In no circumstances will Consultant be required to disclose any confidential or proprietary information regarding its products and service costs.
