Accommodation for Disabled Employees. a) Any employee covered by this Agreement who becomes incapacitated due to injury or illness which prevents him/her from performing the duties of his/her regular position shall be provided with suitable alternate employment to the point of undue hardship for both the Employer and the Union. If modifications to a job are made within a classification there shall be no reduction in pay, however, if the accommodation involves an employee changing classifications he/she shall receive the pay for that classification. The employee’s pay may come from a variety of sources.
