Accrual of Vacation and Sick Leave. Accrual of vacation leave and sick leave benefits during the period of leave of absence with pay shall continue. If an employee is granted leave without pay, they will not be credited with vacation or sick leave accruals for the period of leave without pay with the exception of approved military leave where accruals are required by law to be credited.
