Common use of ACTING SHIFT SUPERVISOR Clause in Contracts

ACTING SHIFT SUPERVISOR. An employee may be assigned by the Chief to perform the duties and responsibilities of a supervisory position. Upon assignment to such position, the individual shall be compensated at the base rate for a sergeant for all hours actually worked in the supervisory position, provided a minimum of one (1) hour of work in such position is performed.
