Common use of Active Duty During Peacetime Clause in Contracts

Active Duty During Peacetime. Employees who enlist in the Armed Forces during peacetime are not eligible for military leave. They are entitled to re-employment with the County within ninety (90) days of their release from active duty with an honorable discharge without loss of benefits or seniority. The reinstated employee will not accrue merit increases during the absence.
