Common use of Additional Day Off Clause in Contracts

Additional Day Off. ‌ a) When a Designated Holiday falls on a full-time Employee’s scheduled day off, the Employee shall have an additional day off with pay within four (4) weeks before or after the Designated Holiday occurs. Such time off will be taken at a mutually agreed time. b) When a designated Holiday occurs during a full-time Employee’s vacation leave, he/she shall be granted an additional day off as part of his/her vacation period. c) A full-time Employee who works on their Designated Holiday shall have the right to reschedule their day off, by mutual agreement in the following four (4) week period.
