Common use of Additions to Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Additions to Bargaining Unit. When there is a need to add to the bargaining unit, the Company will contact the Union to refer qualified applicants at it sole discretion. The Company will specify to the Union the qualifications needed, so that the Union may refer a qualified candidate. If the Union has a person who fits the needed profile, it will refer the candidate or candidates to the Company within 72 hours of the Company’s request, not counting Saturdays and Sundays. The Company will have the right to decide whether to hire any candidate or request another candidate from the Union.
