Authorization for Deduction. The City shall deduct Union dues, initiations fees, premiums for insurance programs and political action fund contributions from a represented attorney's pay upon receipt by the Controller of a form authorizing such deductions by the represented attorney. The City shall pay over to the designated payee all sums so deducted. Upon request of XXX, the Controller agrees to meet with XXX to discuss and attempt to resolve issues pertaining to delivery of services relating to such deductions.
Authorization for Deduction. A properly executed copy of such Authorization for Check-Off of Dues or agency fee form and a properly executed copy of Obligation of I.B.E.W. Membership form for each employee for whom Union membership dues or agency fees are to be deducted hereunder, shall be delivered to the Financial Secretary of the Union within five (5) working days after said forms have been executed by any employee being hired or transferred into the bargaining unit. The Financial Secretary of the Union shall deliver to the Payroll Department of the Company the executed copies of Authorization for Check-Off of Dues or agency fee forms. Deductions shall be made thereunder only under Authorization for Check-Off of Dues or agency fee forms which have been properly executed and are in effect. Any Authorization for Check-Off of Dues or agency fees which is incomplete or in error will be returned to the Union by the Company.
Authorization for Deduction. The authorization for the deductions made in accordance with the foregoing Paragraph 3.8 shall be in the following form: “Pursuant to this authorization and assignment, please deduct from my pay each week while I am in employment within the collective bargaining unit in the Company, weekly dues, assessments and (if owing by me) an initiation fee each as designated by the International Treasurer of the Union, as my membership dues in said Union.” “The aforesaid membership dues shall be remitted promptly by you to the Secretary/Treasurer of the United Steelworkers of America, or its successor, X.X. Xxx 00000, Xxxxxxx, XX 00000.”
Authorization for Deduction. 1. Upon the written authorization of the bargaining unit member, the Board shall deduct from said individual’s wages the prescribed amount for the Association dues.
Authorization for Deduction. 5.1 The Employer agrees to deduct initiation fees and dues from the wages of employees in the bargaining unit who provide the Employer with a voluntary, written authorization which shall be irrevocable for a period of one (1) year, or until the expiration date of this Agreement, or until the employee is no longer eligible for Union membership.
Authorization for Deduction. The Employer agrees to deduct OPBA membership dues and fees once each month from the pay of any eligible employee in the Bargaining Units upon receiving written authorization signed individually and voluntarily by the employee. The signed payroll deduction form must be presented to the Employer. Upon receipt of the proper authorization, the Employer will deduct OPBA dues and fees from the payroll check for the next pay period in which dues are normally deducted following the pay period in which the authorization was received by the Employer.

(a) Initiation and Monthly Dues Employer agrees to deduct initiation fees and dues from the wages of employees in the bargaining unit who provide the Employer with a voluntary written authorization which shall be irrevocable for a period of one (1) year, or until the expiration date of this Agreement, or until the employee is no longer eligible for Union membership. Initiation fees will be deducted in a minimum of three (3) consecutive monthly payroll deductions. Each individual Teamsters Local shall decide the initiation fee. Dues structures for the lifetime of this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with the International Constitution.

5.2 Such deductions shall be made by the Employer from wages of employees from their weekly pay periods and will be transmitted to the Union as soon as possible monthly after such deductions are made, unless such deductions are unable to be made because of equipment breakdown or acts of God.
5.3 No deductions will be made from the wages of any employee until the Employer has received a signed copy of the voluntary, written authorization for such deductions.
5.4 The Union hereby indemnifies and defends the Employer and holds it harmless against any and all suits, claims, demands and liabilities that may arise out of, or by reason of, any action that shall be taken by the Employer for the purpose of complying with the foregoing provisions of this Article, or in reliance on any list or certificate which shall have been furnished to the Employer under any of such provisions.
6.1 There will be no discrimination by the Union or the Employer because of race, religion, sex, sexual preference, creed, color, national origin, or age as provided by law nor by the Employer against any employee because of Union membership or activities.
6.2 Whenever a word is used in the masculine gender, it is intended to and does include both men and women equally.
Authorization for Deduction. I, hereby authorize the First Credit Union (please print) to deduct from the wages due to me, initiation fees, union dues and assessments and to transmit same to the B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union. I understand that the amounts to be so deducted shall be certified by the Union, to be in effect in accordance with the Union's Bylaws to the First Credit Union.
