Administration of Salary Schedule. 18.2.1 Appointment rate - All employees will be placed at the appropriate salary grade and step of the classified salary schedule upon appointment. 18.2.2 Determination of salary placement will be based upon previous job experience and decided by the Chief Human Resources Officer. 18.2.3 A minimum eighty (80) working day probationary period will be required of each new employee.
