Common use of Advance of Float Time Leave Clause in Contracts

Advance of Float Time Leave. (a) A member who has earned and accumulated a minimum balance of 64 hours of float time leave on September 01 of any year, shall, on application, be advanced 32 hours of float time leave against float time leave to be earned between September 01 and December 31 of that year, provided that the Force is satisfied that a minimum of 32 hours of float time leave will be earned by the member between September 01 and December 31.
