Advice and Consultancy. The provisions of this ‘Advice and consultancy’ chapter shall apply in addition to the general provisions of these general terms and conditions and the provisions of theProvision of services’ chapter if the supplier provides services in the field of advice and consultancy.
Advice and Consultancy. Employee Relations casework Advice, guidance and practical assistance will be provided for Disciplinary, Grievance, Capability, Absence & Sickness Management and Organisational Change and Redundancy situations and include:  Support for the investigation of allegations/complaints  The consideration of the advisability/desirability of suspension from duty in disciplinary casesAdvice and support in attempting to resolve grievances before formal procedures become unavoidable  Working with the school/school adviser on the monitoring and review of staff performance under capability processes  Arranging formal medical assessment and advice via the Occupational Health provider  Advice on welfare situations  Support programmes and phased returns in sickness cases  Options in organisational change situations including identification of potential change of contract and/or redundancy situations  Applying the school’s policy(s) appropriate to the situation  Support to discussions and negotiations with trade unions and individuals in developing possible outcomes and solutions  Advice on the termination of employment when such outcome is unavoidable, including termination of employment by mutual agreement where applicable  Supporting the presentation of evidence to Hearing Officers and/or governors’ personnel sub-committees Separate support will be given for directly advising Hearing Officers and/or governors’ personnel sub-committees’ panels and appeal panels. This assistance also covers attendance at Child Protection meetings where advice and support is given. Where legal advice is to be sought and charged in an employee relations case, this charge will be discussed with the customer before it is incurred and charged to the customer. HR customers may purchase the Employee Assistance Programme, separately and from the EAP provider via HR Services.
Advice and Consultancy. Pay, Terms and Conditions of Service We will advise the school on developments in national terms and conditions and provide updates on model procedures designed to meet changing statutory requirements. Community Schools support staff who are subject to NJC conditions, have terms and conditions set out in the Single Status Agreement for all such Council employees. Advice and guidance will be provided on the application of these terms and conditions, and for teaching staff on their terms and conditions. For non-Community Schools and Academies, advice and guidance will be provided on the application of the school’s or academy’s terms and conditions of service for all staff, including maternity and other contractual provisions. Advice will be provided on teacher’s performance/grade pay progression and individual school ranges (ISR’s) as well as senior staff payment. Advice and guidance will be provided on maternity rules and regulations, paternity leave, adoption leave, parental leave and also requests for flexible working. For all Advisory and Consultancy work we will, on receipt of all relevant information including applicable documentation:  Respond either by telephone, e-mail or by letter  Attend site to advise customer as necessary The Advisory and Consultancy service is provided on working days within the hours of 08:30 to 17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 16:45 on Fridays. Any additional out of hours service requested beyond the above is subject to availability of staff.
Advice and Consultancy. If consultancy quoted for includes a site visit, travel expenses by train or taxi may be added without notice to you. Advice given by Nurved without cost to you will incur no liability for Nurved nor will Nurved accept any liability for suppliers Nurved staff recommend.
