Aesthetic Appearance. The Village is part of both the University life and the local community. You are required to maintain your Room in a neat and clean state of condition/appearance. If applicable, you must in conjunction with other residents ensure that Flat Common Areas are maintained to the same standard. Do not place foil, cardboard flags or other unsightly material or objects in or on any windows in the Village or alter any window coverings in the Village. Keep balconies, decks, patios and common areas neat and orderly at all times and clear of personal belongings. Furniture designed for indoor use is not permitted outside (Including on any balcony, decks, patios or common areas). If in the opinion of Village Management, Village Staff and Village Security any item adversely affects the appearance of the Village, the resident concerned will be asked to remove it. If you are asked by Village Management, Village Staff and Village Security to remove any item you must do so within the timeframe set by Village Management, Village Staff and Village Security.

Aesthetic Appearance. The Tenant is required to maintain their Room/Flat in a neat and clean state of condition/appearance. If applicable, the Tenant must in conjunction with other Tenant’s ensure that Flat Common Areas are maintained to the same standards and ensure that the following is met: • Items such as foil, cardboard flags or other unsightly material or objects are not placed in or on any windows in the property or alter any window coverings in the property; • Keep balconies, decks, patios and common areas neat and orderly at all times and clear of personal belongings; • Furniture designed for indoor use is not permitted outside (Including on any balcony, decks, patios or common areas). If in the opinion of the Landlord any item adversely affects the appearance of the accommodation, the Tenant concerned will be asked to remove it. If a Tenant is asked by the Landlord to remove any item, they must do so within a set time frame by the Landlord.

To the extent applicable, you must, in conjunction with other resident(s) of your Apartment, ensure that the Apartment Common Areas are maintained to the same standard. You must not place foil, cardboard or other unsightly material or objects in or on any windows in your Room, Apartment Common Areas or alter any window coverings in your Room or Apartment Common Areas. You must, at all times, keep balconies, decks and patios neat and orderly and clear of personal belongings. The hanging of any item from the walls, ceiling or balustrades of balconies, decks and patios is prohibited. You must not use furniture designed for indoor use outside (including on any balcony, deck or patio). If, in the opinion of Village management, any item adversely affects the appearance of the Village (or any part thereof), including your Room or any Apartment Common Areas, the resident concerned will be asked to remove the relevant item. If you are asked by Village management to remove any item, you must do so within the timeframe set by Village management.

  • Appearance The Employee must appear at the Employer’s desired workplace at the time scheduled. If the Employee does not appear, for any reason, on more than separate occasions in a 12-month calendar period the Employer has the right to terminate this Agreement immediately. In such event, the Employee would not be granted severance as stated in Section III.

  • Signs; Exterior Appearance Tenant shall not, without the prior written consent of Landlord, which may be granted or withheld in Landlord’s sole discretion: (i) attach any awnings, exterior lights, decorations, balloons, flags, pennants, banners, painting or other projection to any outside wall of the Project, (ii) use any curtains, blinds, shades or screens other than Landlord’s standard window coverings, (iii) coat or otherwise sunscreen the interior or exterior of any windows, (iv) place any bottles, parcels, or other articles on the window xxxxx, (v) place any equipment, furniture or other items of personal property on any exterior balcony, or (vi) paint, affix or exhibit on any part of the Premises or the Project any signs, notices, window or door lettering, placards, decorations, or advertising media of any type which can be viewed from the exterior of the Premises. Interior signs on doors and the directory tablet shall be inscribed, painted or affixed for Tenant by Landlord at the sole cost and expense of Tenant, and shall be of a size, color and type acceptable to Landlord. Nothing may be placed on the exterior of corridor walls or corridor doors other than Landlord’s standard lettering. The directory tablet shall be provided exclusively for the display of the name and location of tenants.

  • Court Appearance (a) In the event an Employee is required to appear before a court of law as a member of a jury, as a witness in a criminal matter or as a witness in any matter arising out of the Employee’s employment with the Employer, the Employee shall: (i) suffer no loss of regular earnings for the scheduled Shift(s) so missed; (ii) be paid an amount equal to the Employee’s average daily earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay to a maximum of the Employee’s regularly scheduled daily hours for each day in attendance in court on a scheduled day of rest, and be granted an alternate day of rest as scheduled by the Employer. Such rescheduling of the day of rest shall not be construed to be a violation of the scheduling provisions of Article 7:

  • Court Appearances If an employee is subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a job-related court case, not during the employee’s regularly assigned shift, the employee shall be credited for actual time worked, or a minimum of two and one-half hours, whichever is greater.

  • Appearances (a) When an employee participates during working hours in an arbitration proceeding or in a grievance meeting between the grievant or representative and the University, that employee's compensation shall neither be reduced nor increased for time spent in those activities. (b) Prior to participation in any such proceedings, conferences, or meetings, the employee shall make arrangements acceptable to the appropriate supervisor for the performance of the employee's duties. Approval of such arrangements shall not be unreasonably withheld. Time spent in such activities outside regular working hours shall not be counted as time worked.

  • Leave for Court Appearances (a) The Employer shall grant paid leave to employees, other than employees on leave without pay, who serve as jurors or witnesses in a court action, provided such court action is not occasioned by the employee's private affairs. (b) In cases where an employee's private affairs have occasioned a court appearance, such leave to attend at court shall be without pay. (c) An employee in receipt of their regular earnings while serving at court shall remit to the Employer all monies paid to them by the court, except travelling and meal allowances not reimbursed by the Employer. (d) In the event an accused employee is jailed pending a court appearance, such leave of absence shall be without pay. (e) For all the above leaves, the employee shall advise their supervisor as soon as they are aware that such leave is required.

  • Personal Appearance All teachers shall maintain dress, grooming and personal appearance consistent with their area of teaching.

  • PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.

  • Medication 1. Xxxxxxx’s physician shall prescribe and monitor adequate dosage levels for each Client. 2. Xxxxxxx’s physician shall not impose and/or limit dosage capitations for any prescribed medication for the treatment of opioid use disorder.

  • Court Appearance Leave Leave shall be granted for appearance before a court, legislative committee, or other judicial or quasi-judicial body in response to a subpoena, or other direction of proper authority, for job related purposes other than those instituted by the employee or the exclusive representative. Leave shall also be granted for attendance in court in connection with an employee's official duty, which shall include any necessary travel time. Such employee shall be paid for the employee's regular pay less the fee received, exclusive of expenses, for serving as a witness, as required by the court.
