Agreement on Vacation Time. For scheduling purposes the annual vacation year will run from February 1st to January 31st. Annual and supplemental vacations shall be taken at a time mutually agreed upon between the employee and the exempt supervisor or designate. Vacation requests must be submitted to the exempt supervisor or designate by January 15th and will be evaluated, determined and/or approved on a seniority basis by January 31st of that year for the period February 1st to January 31st of the following year. After the January 31st date all leave requests shall be considered on a first come first served basis. Such requests submitted directly to the exempt supervisor or designate after the January 31st deadline will be evaluated, determined and/or approved on a case-by-case basis within seven (7) calendar days.
