All Transfers and Promotions. 17.7.1 When a unit member is selected for a position which is currently vacant, the unit member shall be released from his/her current position and assigned to the new position no later than the eleventh (11th) working day after acceptance of the offer by the candidate to Human Resources. When a unit member is selected for and accepts a position which is not currently vacant, the unit member shall be released from his/her current position and assigned to the new position no later than the eleventh (11th) working day after the position becomes vacant.
