Alternative Methods of Compliance. (AMOCs) (1) The Manager, Los Angeles ACO Branch, FAA, has the authority to approve AMOCs for this AD, if requested using the procedures found in 14 CFR 39.19. Alternative Methods of Compliance. An alternative method of compliance or adjustment of the compliance time that provides an acceptable level of safety may be used if approved by the Manager, Seattle Aircraft Certification Office (ACO), FAA. Operators shall submit their requests through an appropriate FAA PMI, who may add comments and then send it to the Manager, Seattle ACO.
Alternative Methods of Compliance. The purpose of this section is to provide an alternative method to comply with the Table of Standards specified in Section 100.3.1 (relating to table of standards). This alternative is provided by allowing responsible ACP parties the option to voluntarily enter separate alternative control plans for consumer products, as specified in this section. Only responsible ACP parties for consumer products may enter an ACP.
Alternative Methods of Compliance. Based upon the attributes of those properties of related ownership interests, such as size, density and location, the applicable Affordable Housing Obligation, difficulty in integrating Low and/or Moderate-Income Housing due to price and product disparity, developer capability, the new construction of the Low and/or Moderate- Income Housing within residential development on such properties may present a hardship and alternative methods of compliance may be required. Such alternative(s) may represent a more effective and feasible means of implementing the Affordable Housing Obligation and the goals of City’s Housing Element for the benefit of the public. In lieu of including Low and/or Moderate-Income Housing in the Project, Developer may request to satisfy the Affordable Housing Obligation through one or more of the alternatives set forth in this Section and in accordance with procedures and standards set forth in the Guidelines of the Balanced Communities Policy adopted by the City. Approval of satisfaction of the Affordable Housing Obligations, in whole, in part or any combination, through an alternative method of compliance shall be at the sole discretion of the City.

Payment to the City of an in-lieu fee in the amount of $124,220 per Affordable Unit (“In-lieu Fee”) for those units not constructed or provided, which payment shall be placed in the Inclusionary Housing Fund. c. Purchase of available credits resulting from a development of Low or Moderate Income Housing (as defined in the Balanced Communities Policy) provided with financial assistance from the City or the Chula Vista Housing Authority; providing sufficient evidence, to the satisfaction of the City, of purchase of such credits; and authorizing the City to apply the credits to Developer’s Affordable Housing Obligation, accordingly.

  • Construction Methods 3.1 The Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor and work for the excavation and removal of the unsuitable subgrade soils and their subsequent replacement with the specified backfill soils as directed by the Owner’s representative. All work under this item shall be performed in a safe and workmanlike manner. 3.2 All work shall be performed in accordance with DelDOT Standard Specifications Section 821. 3.3 Following the removal of existing pavements, the Owner’s representative will review the exposed subgrade and provide recommendations for the undercutting of unsuitable subgrade materials as required. The depth and extent of undercut excavation, if required, will be determined by the Owner’s representative at the time of excavation. 3.4 All excavated materials shall become the property of the Contractor and be removed from the site at the completion of the project at no additional expense to the Owner. 3.5 Undercut excavations should be backfilled with graded aggregate. Backfill shall be placed in loose lifts not exceeding 8 inches thick. Each lift should be compacted with at least 3 passes of a minimum 5-ton, walk-behind or self-propelled vibratory roller when the size of the area permits, or with a vibrating plate mechanical compactor for smaller areas. Lift thickness shall be reduced to 6 inch loose lift when using a vibratory plate compactor. 3.6 The Contractor shall take precautions as necessary to minimize the potential for disturbance or softening of the pavement subgrade materials from inclement weather or construction traffic. As a minimum, this shall include the placement of backfill on the same day as the excavation. Any soft areas which develop shall be undercut and replaced with graded aggregate at no additional cost to the Owner. 3.7 Where undercutting is performed, the geotextile fabric shall be installed. The fabric should be pulled tight and lapped a minimum of 12 inches.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.6.1 Telepak Networks will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. Telepak Networks must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non-designed unbundled Loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. Upon request from BellSouth at the time of the trouble report, Telepak Networks will be required to provide the results of the Telepak Networks test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided Loop. 2.1.6.2 Once Telepak Networks has isolated a trouble to the BellSouth provided Loop, and had issued a trouble report to BellSouth on the Loop, BellSouth will take the actions necessary to repair the Loop if a trouble actually exists. BellSouth will repair these Loops in the same time frames that BellSouth repairs similarly situated Loops to its End Users. 2.1.6.3 If Telepak Networks reports a trouble on a non-designed or designed Loop and no trouble actually exists, BellSouth will charge Telepak Networks for any dispatching and testing (both inside and outside the CO) required by BellSouth in order to confirm the Loop’s working status. 2.1.6.4 In the event BellSouth must dispatch to the end-user’s location more than once due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by Telepak Networks (e.g., incomplete address, incorrect contact name/number, etc.), BellSouth will xxxx Xxxxxxx Networks for each additional dispatch required to repair the circuit due to the incorrect/incomplete information provided. BellSouth will assess the applicable Trouble Determination rates from BellSouth’s FCC or state tariffs.
