Alternative Schedule. The District may establish alternative work schedules that may include a flextime schedule or other alternative workweek schedules. Work schedule changes may be made after two (2) weeks’ written notice to the employee and XXXXX. Shorter notice may be given by mutual consent of the District and the employee. Work scheduled for four (4) ten-hour days within the workweek will not include overtime for the daily hours in excess of eight (8).

Alternative Schedule. Request for alternative scheduling may be made to one’s immediate supervisor. Any form of alternative schedule must be made by mutual agreement between the professional instructional employee and supervisor and approved by the Superintendent.
Alternative Schedule. The Xxxxxx Valley Union High School District (VVUHSD) recognizes that there are several proven research-based remediation/enrichment programs. All alternative instructional schedules must be agreed upon annually in accordance with the site-based procedures outlined below.

1. The teacher and/or administrator demonstrates the need for the class offering and the need to offer the course outside the normal school day,
2. Both the administrator and teacher agree to make the course a “zero hour” during the regular work week;
3. The teacher’s day will not exceed an eight hour day; and
4. The “zero hour” minutes are equivalent to class minutes met within the regular schedule.
Alternative Schedule. The administration, in consultation with the staff in each middle and/or high school, may decide to modify the daily schedules from time to time in order to provide for activities periods and/or advisor/advisee periods. In such event each teacher shall still have a period of individual conference preparation, a regular lunch period and no more than five (5) instructional periods on those days the daily schedule is modified.
