Extended Day. A unit member scheduled to teach in the extended day program as part of his/her load shall be given consideration with regard to times of regular day assignment. The location of the class shall be considered to be the campus so that office hours may be held in relation to the assignment.
Extended Day. All CoSA extended day units will be agreed upon by CorArtsEd Foundation and paid to the CUSD employee by CorArtsEd Foundation.
Extended Day. If an IDL teacher presents an IDL course outside of the normal school day or normal school year, he/she shall be compensated at a pro rata amount of his/her normal daily rate of pay.
Extended Day. 3.1 In the event that a teacher should agree to accept an extended day schedule for the purpose of classroom instruction, said teacher’s salary shall be increased by the result of the following calculation: (A / B / six (6) hours = hourly rate) X C X D = E A = Regular contract salary amount, less any additional compensation B = Number of days in a regular contract C = Hours per day (including fractions of an hour) extended schedule will be conducted D = Number of days extended schedule will be conducted E = Dollar amount to be added to base salary This does not apply to FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES, which are simply adjustments to a normal schedule. (For example, some teachers may agree, upon administrative approval to come in early and leave early, or come in late and stay late.)
Extended Day. An extended day, which can only be categorically funded, is defined as an instructional schedule that requires an extended day beyond the six hour and thirty-five minute (395 minutes) contract Restoration workday to six-hour and fifty-one minute (411 minutes) extended day schedule (see Appendix 4). Extension of the instructional day shall be paid at the per diem rate. Implementation of the extended day must be approved by the School Site Council and be part of the Board approved School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
Extended Day. Any teacher who is required to work beyond the seven (7) hour day on a flexible instructional assignment shall be paid one-seventh (1/7) of his/her daily rate of pay for each additional hour worked, except consultative instructors whose time will be considered on a weekly basis.
Extended Day. 8.8.3.1 At each school site, a Unit member may be assigned a work schedule within six contiguous periods, although the school day may extend up to ten periods. For example, a unit member may be assigned a schedule (including a preparation period) during periods, 1-6,2-7,3-8,4-9,or 5-10.
8.8.3.2 Unit members who are assigned schedules that include periods 1,8,9, or 10 shall be selected from volunteers first. If schedule needs cannot be met with volunteers, a Unit member may be assigned to a schedule that includes 1,8,9,or 10. The selection of such assignments shall be determined by lottery from the existing pool of properly credentialed and qualified Unit members at the site, as determined by the principal and the department chair.
8.8.3.3 A Unit member may also request to work a split schedule, although the assignment shall not total more than the maximum five-period, plus preparation period, assignment.
Extended Day. All extended day charges will be billed through the FACTS automatic payment plan along with tuition. Payments are due every Monday. Additional information regarding the extended day program will be available at the beginning of the school year.
Extended Day. For overtime purposes the extended day for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be defined as a 24-hour period beginning at: 0700-1900 Extended Day Tour 1900-0700 Extended Evening/Night Tour Any employee who works a tour that begins or ends at a different time than the above will be paid overtime calculated on that time. No employee shall have her or his present tour changed except by mutual agreement.
Extended Day. Time worked as an Extended Day is work generated as part of the scheduled "Normal Workday" activity and immediately preceding or following the "Normal Workday." Extended Day hours shall be paid at straight time up to 40 hours in a seven (7) day period; and at time and one-half the "Regular Rate of Pay" thereafter. Any time worked excluding "Special Detail" (prearranged working time) outside the scheduled "Normal Workday" and not within the meaning of "Extended Day." "Callback" time shall be paid at the rate of a minimum of three (3) hours pay or actual time worked, whichever is greater, at time and one-half of the "Regular Rate of Pay." Officers and sergeants assigned as investigators, or assigned to special details as defined by the Chief of Police, when off duty, will be compensated with overtime pay in increments of 15 minutes when contacted by on-duty personnel regarding specific cases. Such contact shall be authorized by the contacting officer’s supervisor. Time spent in preparation to appear in court, travel to and from court, and actual time spent in appearing or waiting to appear while at a court facility. Travel time shall be that time needed to reasonably travel from and return to the Escondido Police Department. Court time shall consist of "Court Time on Duty" and "Court Time Off Duty" as defined and subject to the compensation set forth below: Court time on duty shall mean court time occurring during the "Normal Workday,” "Normal Workday Overtime,” or immediately following the "Normal Workday," and shall be compensated as such.
