Amending and Supplementing Contract Documents. 6.5.1 The Contract Documents may be amended to provide for additions, deletions, and revisions in the Work or to modify the terms and conditions thereof in one or more of the following ways: (i) a Written Amendment; (ii) a Change Order; or (iii) a Work Change Directive.
6.5.2 The requirements of the Contract Documents may be supplemented and minor variations and deviations in the Work may be authorized by Change Order.

A Written Amendment allows for material changes to the Contract such as changes to the total Contract Amount, changes to the Request for Reimbursement Deadline or Contract Expiration Date, or other changes that affect the material obligations of the PERFORMING PARTY in this Contract. All Written Amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
