An Operations Representative and Work Area Representative Sample Clauses

An Operations Representative and Work Area Representative s together will have the responsibility for measuring the ambient temperature in a local work area: (i) when the temperature reaches the temperature thresholds referenced below as measured by the Bureau of Meteorology, or (ii) on the request of a work area representative, or (iii) on the request of an employee(s) affected. If the Operations Representative and Work Area Representative advises that the ambient temperature has reached 34ºC in the Local Work Area, the Representatives will: (i) Relay this information to the work area. (ii) Authorise Employees to take additional breaks or stop work in particular work areas as appropriate. (iii) Direct Employees to cease taking additional breaks if the ambient temperature falls below 34ºC or resume normal work with the extra breaks whilst temperature is over 34ºC. (iv) Re-check the ambient temperature every subsequent 30 minutes for the remainder of the shift.
