Common use of Anniversary Benefit Clause in Contracts

Anniversary Benefit. Upon the 3rd, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th anniversaries of an employee’s hire date, the employee will be allowed to take an accrued vacation day where a vacation slot would not normally be available. One additional Annual Leave request may be approved per shift grouping per day, excluding the following days: Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras), St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco xx Xxxx, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. All other rules will be followed regarding Annual Leave requests under Article 11.
