Common use of Annual Increase Clause in Contracts

Annual Increase. The Base Consulting Fee may be adjusted from time to time, by mutual written agreement of the parties to reflect, amongst other things cost of living increases and compensation paid to executive officers of companies similar to the Company.

Accordingly, when the phrase "Base Consulting Fee" is used in this Agreement, such phrase shall include any alterations to the initial Base Consulting Fee, and, in the event a calculation is to be made based on Base Consulting Fee, such calculation shall refer to the Base Consulting Fee in effect as at the date that triggers the necessity for such calculation to be made.
