Common use of Annual Leave/Non-Prime Time Clause in Contracts

Annual Leave/Non-Prime Time. Annual leave during non-prime time will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. In the case of conflicting requests for annual leave, all annual leave requests will be considered on the basis of the date the request was submitted and seniority. Written request for annual leave shall be presented as far in advance as is possible, but not less than two (2) weeks before the work schedule is posted. Employees will be notified in writing within three (3) weeks after the request is submitted as to whether the annual leave is approved.
