Common use of Annual Practising Certificate Clause in Contracts

Annual Practising Certificate. Where an employee is required by law to hold an annual practising certificate, the employer shall contribute $110.00 towards the cost of the certificate, provided that: 13.1.1 It must be a statutory requirement that a current certificate be held for the performance of duties. 13.1.2 The employee must be engaged in duties for which the holding of a certificate is a requirement. 13.1.3 Where the employee works for more than one employer, the employer shall pay a portion of the cost pro-rated to the number of employers, up to a maximum of $110.00. 13.1.4 The Employer will only contribute to one APC unless there are operational requirements for an employee to maintain more than one APC. 13.1.5 For those employees where superior entitlements exist, such entitlements shall be retained by the individuals concerned.
