Common use of Annual Practising Certificate Clause in Contracts

Annual Practising Certificate. Where a nurse is required by law to hold an annual practising certificate, the cost of the certificate shall be met by the employer provided that: (a) it must be a statutory requirement that a current certificate be held for the performance of duties. (b) the employee must be engaged in duties for which the holding of a certificate is a requirement. Any payment will be offset to the extent that the employee has received a reimbursement from another employer.
