Common use of Annualisation of Salary Clause in Contracts

Annualisation of Salary. 10.2. A staff member employed on a part-year basis may apply to the University to receive an annualised salary payment over a 12-month period based on the staff member’s proportion of full-time employment.

A staff member who is employed on a continuing or fixed-term contract of employment on a part-year basis basis; including as a fractional or similar staff member, may apply to the University to receive an annualised salary payment over a 12-month twelve (12)month period based on the staff member’s proportion of full-time employment. Provided that a Professional staff member will be eligible for overtime in the same manner as other staff in respect of any hours worked outside the agreed ordinary hours specified in the arrangement.
