Aorta Graft Surgery. The actual undergoing of major Surgery to repair or correct aneurysm, narrowing, obstruction or dissection of the Aorta through surgical opening of the chest or abdomen. For the purpose of this cover the definition of “
Aorta Graft Surgery i. Consultation Paper stating the presenting complaints with duration, past medical history with duration, treatment and medication advised.
ii. ECG at the time of detection of Coronary Artery Disease and Subsequent ECG’s
iii. Stress test/ Tread Mill Test
iv. Letter from treating consultant suggesting Coronary Angiography and CABG
v. Coronary Angiography report (Injecting X xxx xxx) / CT Scan/MRI
vi. Cardiac Enzymes Tests: Troponin T/Troponin I, CPK / CPK-MB, SGOT / SGPT, vii. LDH / Electrolytes viii. X-ray / 2D-Echocardiography Report ix. Abdominal Ultrasound
Aorta Graft Surgery. Occurrence for the first time of the following medical events more specifically described below:
Aorta Graft Surgery i. Photocopy Hospital Discharge Card ii. Photocopy Hospital Bills.
Aorta Graft Surgery. The actual undergoing of major Surgery to repair or correct aneurysm, narrowing, obstruction or dissection of the Aorta through surgical opening of the chest or abdomen. For the purpose of this Benefit, Aorta means the thoracic and abdominal aorta but not its branches. You understand and agree that We will not cover:
a. Surgery performed using only minimally invasive or intraarterial techniques.
b. Angioplasty and all other intraarterial, catheter based techniques, “keyhole” or laser procedures.
c. Congenital narrowing of the aorta and traumatic injury of the aorta are specifically excluded.

Aorta Graft Surgery. The actual undergoing of major Surgery to repair or correct aneurysm, narrowing, obstruction or dissection of the Aorta through surgical opening of the chest or abdomen. For the purpose of this cover the definition of “Aorta” shall mean the thoracic and abdominal aorta but not its branches. The Insured Person understands and agrees that we will not cover:
a. Surgery performed using only minimally invasive or intra arterial techniques.
b. Angioplasty and all other intra arterial, catheter based techniques, "keyhole" or laser procedures. The aorta is the main artery carrying blood from the heart. Aortic graft surgery benefit covers surgery to the aorta wherein part of it is removed and replaced with a graft.
