Appearance for Lateral Officers. a. Lateral hires from within the State of Washington will be compensated for their appearances, for their prior jurisdiction, in accordance with this Section. Officers and Supervisors shall make every effort to attempt to have such appearances scheduled during the officer’s normal work schedule to avoid payment of overtime whenever possible.
