Common use of Approved Leave Clause in Contracts

Approved Leave. If the Employee takes an approved unpaid leave of absence from the Company or an Affiliate, the Committee may, in its sole discretion, treat the employee as continuously employed or may extend the Performance Share Issue Date, to take into account the period(s) during which the Employee was not actively employed by the Company or an Affiliate.
