Approving Authorities. Senior Administrators and Department Heads are authorized to approve expenses/invoice incurred by his/her department. Senior Administrators may also designate personnel who are in charge of their units as authorized approvers (e.g. Business Managers). Authorized approvers are not allowed to approve his/her own reimbursement. Senior Administrators, Department Heads and Business Managers must provide their sample signature to the Business Office/Accounts Payable by completing and submitting a sample signature form. The Business Office must maintain the current sample signature forms at all times. The following is the approving level based on amounts: Senior Administrators $5,000 and above Department Authorized Approver/Signer below $5,000 CFO or President will also approve amounts $5,000 and above Senior Administrator’s business expense reimbursement will be approved by President or CFO
