ARTICLE RETIREMENT. It is understood that retirement shall normally occur at the end of the month in which an employee reaches 65th birthday.

ARTICLE RETIREMENT. All employees shall participate in the Pension Plan in accordance with the rules of that plan. All costs of the Pension Plan premiums are to be shared equally on a basis.
ARTICLE RETIREMENT. It is understood that once a nurse has determined a date of retirement, is responsible to advise Manager in writing of intent to retire and specify the retirement date. It is preferred that the Nurse provide written notice of retirement no less than three (3) months in advance of the retirement date as a reasonable notice period to process the retirement. It is understood that should reasonable notice not be provided as outlined above, it may cause a delay in the processing of benefits.

ARTICLE RETIREMENT. All employees in the bargaining unit of the North Bay General Hospital shall be automatically retired on reaching sixty- five (65) years of age. Employees, who through age or physical disability, are, or become, no longer capable of performing all of the normal functions of their work may, at the discretion of the Employer, be retained in the employment of the Hospital provided suitable work available. In such cases the wage provisions of this Agreement may not apply for such employees, and the Employer shall have the right to establish what it considers an equitable rate of pay on agreement with the Union. ARTICLE HEALTH EXAMINATIONS When required by the Employer, the employees submit to a physical examination, stool examinations and/or culture, including laboratory tests, x-ray, inoculations and vaccinations; it being understood that examinations may be conducted by the employee's own personal physician, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the employees agree to submit t o any examination required from time to time by the Public Hospitals Act, chapter and amendments thereto and/or regulations thereto.
