Common use of Associate Professor (tenured) Clause in Contracts

Associate Professor (tenured). Tenured Associate Professors include Assistant Professors who have been tenured and promoted. In addition, with the prior approval of the Xxxxxxx an individual hired into the unit with the proposed title of Associate Professor may be reviewed for tenure prior to the start of his/her employment.
