ASSOCIATION AND EMPLOYEE RIGHTS. The City and the Association shall comply with the provisions of the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx- Xxxxx Act (MMBA) or any subsequent State law governing meet and confer rights of employee organizations. The parties further agree that during the term of this Memorandum of Understanding, each party shall retain those rights respectively vested by local, state and federal law which cannot otherwise be waived by this Agreement.
