Common use of Association Leader Clause in Contracts

Association Leader. a. A leave of absence without pay shall be granted to no more than two (2) teachers for up to one (1) school year for the purpose of engaging in Association activities. Upon return from such leave, each teacher shall be granted credit on the salary schedule and seniority credit as if he/she had remained continuously employed in the District. b. Consistent with the provisions of Article III.E.2, a teacher returning from extended leave as Association President shall be returned to the same school and position occupied at the time the leave commenced unless the teacher agrees to waive this right or the position no longer exists.
