ASSOCIATION RELEASE DAYS. 1) Upon appropriate notification including approval by an association officer from the VBIESP/VBCEA, a total of 4 association business days per contract year shall be granted for the purpose of an ESP participating in a bona fide association business. No association member will be allowed to use more than two (2) association days per contract year. 2) The association shall remit to the board an amount equal to the daily rate of pay of the employee released for such business.
