Common use of Associations Clause in Contracts

Associations. Should the Premises described herein be a part of a common interest community, homeowners 21 association planned unit development, condominium development (“the Association”) or such, TENANT hereby 22 agrees to abide by the Governing Documents (INCLUDING Declarations, Bylaws, Articles, Rules and Regulations) 23 of such community and further agrees to be responsible for any fines or penalties levied as a result of failure to do so 24 by TENANT, TENANT’s family, licensees or guests. Noncompliance with the Governing Documents shall constitute 25 a violation of this Agreement. Unless billed directly to TENANT by the Association, such fines shall be considered 26 as additional rent and shall be due along with the next monthly payment of rent. By initialing this paragraph, TENANT 27 acknowledges receipt of a copy of the applicable Governing Documents. LANDLORD, at LANDLORD’s expense, 28 shall provide TENANT with any additions to such Governing Documents as they become available. LANDLORD 29 may, at its option, with 30 days’ notice to TENANT, adopt additional reasonable rules and regulations governing use 30 of the Premises and of the common areas (if any). Init. [ ] Init.
